One of the most irritating things in life has to be waking up early so you could come to work on time but you get stuck at some MRT station because the platforms can’t contain passengers anymore, and the train stops even in between stations because the train ahead is also stuck, and you stand beside a guy who keeps chewing — oh no, not just chewing — popping* his gum!
And surprise, surprise, you’re an hour late. Pfffft.
Mantra for the day: Life is good, life is good.

But it’s not just this morning. The entire week has not been kind to me, either.
The restroom kept calling me! For four days, my tummy had been tormenting me, urging me to let go of the nasty load I was carrying inside me.

After every lengthy session in the torture chamber that modern people call “restroom,” I would be surprised to see a colorful mixture floating in the toilet bowl. I swear, colorful!
For example, I ate lumpiang shanghai (Shanghai rolls) Monday lunch. That afternoon, I swear I saw carrots, kintsay (Chinese celery), and some of the other ingredients completely undigested. Didn’t smell like poop either. It smelled like, well, lumpiang shanghai. It was like someone threw lumpia into the bowl.
So I consulted a doctor. He suspects I have IBS — irritable bowel syndrome, a condition wherein stress causes the gastro-intestinal tract to malfunction.
See, even my intestine is irritable.
Bright side, I lost a lot of weight. A LOT!

Am I not normal? Why am I not bothered by the A H1N1 flu scare? Not at all. Am I the only one?

It actually depends kung ano nararamdaman mo pag hindi matunaw ung food mo. Basta kapag extremes na ung feeling, like extreme happiness, extreme stress or extreme anxiety, most likely hindi talaga matutunaw ung food mo. Pero ngayon lang ako naka-encounter ng ganyan na hindi man lang nangamoy poop ung keme. Hehehe.
Well, anyway, it’s best to take some time off since your body is manifesting bad signs already. Pangit naman kung lumala yan. Ingat ka parati.
