Four Trips and a Problem

Last year, I was complaining, insisting that summer was a lie. Primarily because I didn’t feel it. I wasn’t able to go anywhere other than my apartment and office. The only thing that made summer last year “summer” was the sun’s intense heat. But I kind of sat it out.

This year, ah, this year is different. Although summer has not started for me yet, it’s going to be really, really fun. I haven’t gone on a trip since Sagada last December but I have a busy couple of months ahead of me now. And I’m so excited, I just can’t hide it, I’m blogging about it.

  • TRIP NO. 1
Third weekend of May (15-16) – I’ll be in Quezon for the Pahiyas Festival! Yay! It will be my first time to witness it so I was thrilled when I received an invitation from my officemates!
  • TRIP NO. 2
Fourth weekend of May (22-23) – I’ll be at Anawangin Cove in Zambales with my college friends. This is going to be the first time that we will be seeing Mimay again. (She’s a friend who is now based in California.)
  • TRIP NO. 3
Fifth weekend of May (28-30) – Outing with our clients. Destination: Subic. This is going to be the first time I’ll be traveling with them.
  • TRIP NO. 4
First weekend of June (5-7) – Company outing in Bohol! Yipee. Loveth, loveth, loveth. I’ve always wanted to visit Bohol. It’s number 2 on the top Philippine destinations I am dying to visit!

So there goes my schedule. Hmmm. I have a problem, though. When organizers asked me if I would go with them, I said “yes” right away. Without even realizing that they are one weekend after another. I can’t possibly go on all of them. It’s gonna be s00o tiring. Plus, it’s going to be really, really costly for me. So here’s the problem. I have to drop one.

Which trip should I drop?

I have to consider so many things, though.  TRIP NO. 3 is non-negotiable. I really wanna hit the beach with our clients. It’s gonna be my first time to travel with them.

TRIP NO. 4 is absolutely free. The company will shoulder everything. But I have another trip to Bohol in July, with my college friends.

So, what do I drop?

I say, drop No.1, you will always see your officemates, like everyday. So,
magsasawa ka din sa mukha nila. You might get lost though on the chika with them when they get back to work but hey, it should be worth it considering you’ll see Mimay again.

    • Yoshke

  5. Robbie

I’ll be in Pahiyas this Saturday as well.

I say don’t drop anything! Hahaha. You can always earn the money back. But the memories will never happen again. Hahaha cheesy! :D

    • Yoshke

i have too much memories na, haha, anu daw?!

pag nakita mo ko, batiin mo ko ah! :P

      • Robbie

The easiest one to drop is the Pahiyas. Pero go lang nang go! Hahaha.

Hahahaha.

        • Yoshke

oy, pumunta ako! Hindi kita nakita! haha

  6. noah

    OMG. DON’T DROP BOHOL! LOL

I am proud of my mom’s province. Miss going back there already. So go there in behalf of me.
    Haha.

    • Yoshke

    • Yoshke

  8. Len

dami namang trip yan, puntahan mo lahat, sayang naman.. :-)

    • Yoshke

actually, mukha ngang mapupuntahan ko lahat. waaah, kapagod.

  9. finya

don’t drop anything if I were you.. hahaha.. every single cent that you will spend is I think will be worthwhile because it’s not only the trip itself, its the culture there and your bonding with your friends and the feeling of being free from stressful manila that you are exchanging with your money!! Just enjoy being a traveler for a month! go aja!

    • Yoshke

haha, tama! May tama ka dyan!

Hey.. I do wished that no.3 was not non-negotiable (i wanted to drop that one) but since its not, id go for no.1. Pahiyas is celebrated yearly, so next year, you could still go with you office mates (if no one from your group resigns, hehe..)

The other 2 (nos. 2 & 4) for me are non-negotiable, coz the fact that it will be your first time to be with Mimay again, and that the other one is “BOHOL”.. nobody drops a trip to Bohol (aside from its for free)

    • Yoshke

TRUELALOO

  11. andreeeeee

lol. it’s been i while since i was last here. i don’t see the need of dropping any. it’s not like you’re failing a class in college. and you’ve never.

    • Yoshke

tama ka naman jan, i might not drop any

  12. jayvie

May 15 na ngayon, so did you drop the Pahiyas? Drop that one, feeling ko mas maraming cuties Anawangin, Subic at Bohol. :P

    • Yoshke

i did, i did. it was fuuuun! Hindi ako nagsisi. :D

  13. Pong

    • Yoshke

hahaha, mukha ngang number 2 ang mada-drop kung may idadrop ako. bagal nila magreply eh

  14. ertling

drop the Bohol trip ng May, tas sama ako sa July ;)

Year 2009 has been the best year of my life so far. It was so good to almost every aspect of my life --- family, friends, love. The only thing that let me down was my health. I often found myself unable to enjoy the day with several gastro-intestinal disorders and, well, as usual, asthma and tonsilitis. Another thing that ...
