JOACHIM LÖW, I’m Sooo Gonna Marry You

Posted on by Yoshke in Blurts, Euphoria, Sports |

Status: 13-0! 13-0! 13-0!
Music: If I Keep My Heart Out of Sight - Nikki Gil

Who is Joachim Löw, you ask? He is the new German National Football Team coach. He replaced the most animated coach in the recent World Cup Jürgen Klinsmann. And why wouldn’t I want to marry this guy? My God! A very impressive 13-0 win against San Marino. Again, 13-0! One more time, 13-0! That’s a record in European history!!! Four Podolski goals, and a couple each from Klose and Schweinsteiger. Wooh! And my points in Fantasy Football League is going up, up, up! Time to celebrate. Go Euro 2008! Go Deutschland! I’m gonna have my breakfast at Schwarzwalder or Treffpunkt Jedermann (German restaurants in Makati) tomorrow!!! That is, if I wake up early.

But I am a little sad because although David Villa managed to score two goals in their Euro2008 qualifying match against Northern Ireland (the hell, of all teams, why lose to Northern Ireland?), it was still not enough to send Spain to triumph. Northern Ireland 3-2 Spain. Tsk, tsk.

And oh, congrats to Team England. Go, go, go Terry and Gerrard! And yeah, because Zenedine Zidane already retired, my top three teams are: (1) Germany, (2) Spain and (3) England. Yeah, yeah, yeah.

13-0! 13-0! 13-0! I just can’t get over it.

My Kind of Whatever

Posted on by Yoshke in Blurts, Love |

These people usually turn me on:

GUYS:
1. Knowledgeable guys (the type who always has something to say about anything — politics, entertainment, sports, science, history)
2. Gentle, charming guys who can drive
3. Guys who can play the violin, the piano or both.
4. Guys with gorgeous lips.

GIRLS:
1. Knowledgeable girls (the type who always has something to say about anything — politics, entertainment, sports, science, history).
2. Girls who don’t wear too much make up but still look pretty.
3. Girls who can really sing, play the cello or both.
4. Girls with beautiful shoulders.

Wulu lung.

Sometimes I Crack Myself Up

Posted on by Yoshke in Blurts, Friends, Sports |

Before anything else, I would like to celebrate with Cheenee because John Terry (Chelsea captain, defender, left) and Steven Gerrard (Liverpool captain, midfielder, right) were chosen as England’s captain and vice-captain respectively for the coming years. Terry and Gerrard are two of my most-loved players.

Although I am a true blue fan (Chelsea fan) I would’ve been happier if Gerrard grabbed the captaincy instead of Terry. But it really doesn’t matter that much. I love them both and they’re both great. England is my second favourite national team (next to Germany). Well, good luck. Hope they do great in Austria-Switzerland Euro 2008.

Where’s My Lawyer?

Posted on by Yoshke in Blurts, Music, Rants, Sports |

Don’t you just hate spams? Other than Bayern Munich and Chelsea newsletters (I signed up for these, so there’s no problem with these football clubs), and some Animax Channel  and JobStreet updates, I also receive e-mails from strangers that I don’t even know if they’re real humans or what. I’m sure you also experience finding foreign-language mails in your inbox, or letters from people asking for help, or notifications that you have won something but would seem impossible to claim! And tonight, guess what I have just received? It’s a mail from someone telling me this, just this and nothing else:

If you start taking Penis Enlarge Patch,
the world’s attention will be drawn to your dick.

What the hell?!?

This article is by Tarra Quismundo of the Philippine Daily Inquirer published on August 7.

Metropolitan Manila Development Authority (MMDA) Chair Bayani Fernando yesterday suggested that large private schools located along major roads in the metropolis turn their football fields into parking lots.

This, he pointed out, would help solve the perennial traffic problem in areas surrounding schools….

…Fernando reiterated that he was serious about asking school officials to turn their football fields into parking areas for students’ vehicles. He particularly cited the schools located near Ortigas Avenue in Mandaluyong City and on Katipunan Avenue in Quezon City — considered the busiest roads in Metro Manila during the school year….

I only have one word to say to Bayani Fernando… WHATEVER?!?
